Though called English Lavender, (Lavandula) this is actually a Mediterranean shrub, growing wild on baked hillsides. Pollinating insects are enticed into your garden by the fragrance from mid to late summer. Dries well if cut before flower head fully open, great for pot-pourri. Prefers sun in well-drained soil. Height 75cm (30"). Spread 60cm (24”). Hardy perennial.
