Silver grey foliage with masses of the deepest violet blue flowers spikes from July to September.  Make you very own romantic garden walk, as both the foliage and flowers are heavily perfumed, they are perfect for pots or borders and will fill the air with scent. 
Though called English Lavender, this is actually a Mediterranean shrub, growing wild on baked hillsides. 
Attractive to bees and butterflies and great for drying.  In our opinion the best lavender for edging paths and borders where the scent is intensified when brushed against.  Perfect for coastal areas.  Prefers sun in well-drained soil.  Height 60cm (24”).  Spread 50cm (20”).  For hedging plant around 30-40cm (12-16”) apart.  Hardy perennial.
