Mahonia aquifolium Apollo AGM

(Oregon Grape)  A wonderful evergreen shrub with racemes of bright yellow flowers appearing from February to April. Guaranteed to brighten up a dull winter/spring garden and are followed by black berries.
Low growing and dense foliage is deep bronze green with red stalks, and turns to an opulent shade of bronze red in winter.
Prefers sun or part shade in well drained soil. Fully hardy perennial, able to withstand temperatures down to at least -15oC.
