The late Edward Wilson has received many awards and accolades for his breeding of Penstemon. We are very highly honoured to be able to offer this special variety, originally called Choir Boy.
Penstemon are the insomniac party animals of the plant world that do without sleep for six months of the year. Summer arrives and they start flowering, summer ends and they are still at it, autumn comes around and they still show no signs of tiring.
What other perennial is oblivious of drought or rain, resists slugs and other pests, positively thrives in most soil conditions in containers or borders, sun or part shade and propagates so painlessly?
