One of the most beautiful and colourful of Penstemon. Rich mauve blue flowers seem to change colour along the stem and it is fascinating to try and find two flowers exactly the same. The flowers are loved by bees and appear from late spring to autumn over compact grey green toothed foliage which is slug and rabbit resistant. Growing to a height of just 45cm the lax habit is perfect to soften harsh path and container edges. Prefers well drained soil in sun or part shade. Height & spread 45cm (18”). Hardy perennial.
