A member of the forget-me-not family, they have the usual characteristics of roughened evergreen silver variegated leaves and pretty pink flower buds that are produced in tight whorls, uncurling as they open in spring and early summer.  Also known as ‘Soldiers and Sailors’ reflected by the way that the flowers open pink then fade to a tinge of blue.  Prefers moist soil in full or dappled shade, great between shrubs.  Height 30 cm (12”) spread 30-60cm (12-24”).  Hardy perennial.  Delivery March/April and November 2008.
