There are more than 900 species of salvia. Originating in the rocky soils of Mexico, greggii is one of the most popular. We think Lara is one of the prettiest, with dark and light pink bicoloured flowers on fragrant foliage that make a stunning display from late spring to autumn. Very easy to grow, drought tolerant and excellent for containers and borders. Prefers sun or part shade in well drained soil. Height 90cm (36”). Spread 60cm (24”). Hardy perennial.
