Salvia greggii Navajo Dark Purple

A profusion of curious open mouthed deep indigo flowers smother neat compact blackberry scented foliage.  Amazingly heat and drought tolerant, lets hope we have a better summer in 2009.  Attractive to bees and butterflies and deer resistant.  Great for container or border.  Prefers well drained soil in sun.  Height & spread 30-40cm (12-16”).  Half-hardy perennial, may need winter protection in very cold areas.
