In Latin ‘salvare’ means to heal or save, and Salvias have been used over the generations to cure many ailments. Large open mouthed blooms adorn sage scented foliage throughout the summer months, wonderful planted near a path or seat where the fragrance will be released when the foliage disturbed. Height 60-90cm (24-36”). Spread 60cm (24”). Prefers well drained soil in sun. Hardy perennial.
