Fascinating open blooms with the top lip deep blue, the lower lip lavender tinged white and the calyx dusky pink, smother the foliage from mid summer to first frosts. Semiatrata means half-dark. Great for container or border and good as cut flowers. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Prefers well drained soil in sun. Height & spread 30-40cm (12-16”). Half-hardy perennial, may need winter protection in very cold areas.
