Verbascum Twilight

Verbascum were once used, before the introduction of cotton, as wicks for lamp, just what you need at twilight! Huge lightly ruffled flowers appear on tall branched spikes over neat rosettes of furry green foliage. Glowing dusky orange blooms with darker centres fade to cream near the edges. Deer and rabbit resistant. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Height 120cm (48”). Spread 45cm (18”). Hardy perennial.
