Veronica Atomic Lilac, Icicle & Fairytale


All great garden designs need an element of spikiness, and these pointed spears will shoot upward throughout the summer, giving contrast from the more usual rounded garden shapes. The county flower of Montgomeryshire, UK. Attractive to bees and butterflies, good for cutting and deer and rabbit resistant. Prefers well drained soil in sun or part shade. Hardy perennial.

Attractive to bees and butterflies. Slug, rabbit and deer resistant. To keep tidy plants, shear back by half after flowering. If not cut back in summer, prune down to basal growth in late autumn. Propagate by division in spring. Hardy perennial.

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
