A wonderful new member of the mint family, with extremely scented foliage and flowers, perfect for garnishing your cocktails.

This small, rounded shrub is covered with true-blue flowers from March until November. Drought tolerant. Prefers well-drained soil in sun. Height & spread 25-35cm (10-14”). Hardy perennial.

Water Hesperozygis well during the summer especially during periods of drought, reducing the volume of water provided during the winter. There should be no need to prune Hesperozygis but you should remove old, dead or damaged foliage to neaten the overall appearance of your shrub. Hardy perennial.

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
